Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3 years of experience leading professional staff.
• Experience with climate adaptation planning or resilience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing Climate Adaptation team with clear priorities and accountability.
• Develop, implement, and update the Climate Plan; monitor Climate Protection Fund investments.
• Translate climate data and risk analyses into policy and programs.
• Coordinate across city departments to embed adaptation considerations.
• Monitor outcomes and budgets; manage contracts and consultants.
• Strengthen partnerships with community organizations, utilities, and research institutions.
• Champion racial equity and environmental justice in initiatives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations.
