Wellington Management Company in Boston is seeking a Client Transitions Analyst to support various client and fund transitions, focusing on operational risk management. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to mitigate risks during transitions.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant investment industry experience. Responsibilities include coordinating documentation for new client accounts and assisting with asset-in-kind processing.
The Client Transitions Analysts (“CTA”) are members of Global Operations and are responsible for supporting the operational aspects of various client and fund transitions including new mandate fundings, terminations, all asset‑in‑kind flows and product/portfolio changes with an emphasis on operational risk management and control environment. The CTA works closely with the Client Integration Manager, Client Group teams, Wellington Funds Group and other functional areas of the firm to ensure a consistent service model in transitioning client assets and to mitigate risk during the client transition process. A substantial amount of time will be devoted to both internal coordination and external communication; dealing with custodian banks, third‑party accounting agents, outsourcing providers, vendors and transition managers.
Base salary range: USD80,000–150,000. Compensation may include variable components and discretionary bonuses. Other rewards may include a corporate bonus and/or incentives for eligible employees.
