Job summary

Fisher Investments is seeking a Client Tax Team Leader to oversee the execution and delivery of tax work for our Private Client Group (PCG) clients. You will lead a team of Client Tax professionals, collaborating with the Financial Planning Services group and reporting to the VP of Client Tax.

You will mentor staff, manage projects end-to-end, ensure compliance and high-quality service, and drive efficiency and scalability of Tax Services for PCG clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 5+ years of direct tax experience preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant designation or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Proficient in tax preparation software, CCH Axcess preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview, evaluate, and recommend candidates to hire.
• Participate in disciplinary actions and/or terminations for direct reports, as appropriate.
• Mentor and train direct reports; ensure day-to-day business support needs are met.
• Manage all phases of various projects from envisioning through deployment.
• Oversee tax planning, tax filing, and compliance for PCG clients; provide topical education.
• Develop and grow Tax Accountants and Sr. Tax Accountants.
