Job summary

National Bank of Indianapolis is seeking a Client Support Manager to join our Personal Trusts & Estates team. You will serve as a primary operational contact, supporting estate and interim trust administration, coordinating account activity, and ensuring client needs are handled accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required; paralegal education or experience is a plus.
  • Three or more years of administrative experience supporting client service professionals.
  • Two or more years of experience supporting trust and estate activities preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on responsiveness and client service.

Responsibilities

  • Support estate administration, including expenses, property-related obligations, asset distributions, and other ongoing account needs.
  • Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, attorneys, and internal partners to coordinate requests and provide timely assistance.
  • Open, maintain, and close trust accounts while ensuring accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Process disbursements, deposits, transfers, wire requests, and other account transactions.
  • Monitor account activity, including overdrafts, assets, and outstanding administrative items.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of assets held by outside custodians.
  • Prepare client correspondence, spreadsheets, forms, and follow-up reports.
  • Provide administrative support, including special mailings, scanning, filing, and record maintenance.
  • Support special projects and other Personal Trusts & Estates activities as needed.
