Job summary

Talbots in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a part-time sales associate to deliver exceptional customer service and active clienteling. You will engage customers, maintain store standards, and support team goals in a fast-paced fashion retail setting.

You will contribute to driving sales, coordinating appointments, and promoting Talbots benefits while representing the brand with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

• Strong ambition and passion for achieving goals, both individually and as part of a store team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of integrity.
• Plan and prioritize tasks to proactively contact clientele with the intent to sell.
• Able to navigate POS systems, iPad and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build enduring relationships.
• Support service enhancers to build strong relationships including Concierge.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key areas (Clientelling/Outreach, Appointments, Talbots Classic Awards).
• Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer and business needs.
• Occasionally supervise others and open/close the store.
