Job description

The Client Servicing Specialist plays a pivotal role in helping Merkle Retirement Planning families bring their retirement visions to life and keep their retirement plans on track. Serving as a vital link between the Retirement Planners and clients, the Client Servicing Specialist is entrusted with the responsibility of delivering exceptional customer interactions that address clients' immediate needs and cultivate enduring trust.

In this vital position, the Client Servicing Specialist is a strategic partner in transforming clients' retirement dreams into tangible plans. They provide essential support, guidance, and a personalized touch that ensures Merkle Retirement Planning's clients' financial journeys are seamless and deeply meaningful.

  • Client Visit Preparation and Post-Visit Follow-Up: Prepare timely and accurate paperwork recommended by the Retirement Planner and Paraplanner before client visits and facilitate any post-visit transactions recommended by the Retirement Planner.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients to gain a deep understanding of their retirement goals, needs, and aspirations. Provide personalized support and guidance to clients, offering insights and solutions tailored to their unique financial situations.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the point of contact for client account servicing and the liaison between the client and third-party financial companies. Answer client requests and questions via phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procedures adhere to industry regulations and internal compliance standards. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and documentation.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with our Retirement Planners to resolve any issues.
  • Specialized Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on various retirement planning strategies, such as Social Security elections, Medicare, succession planning, etc.
  • Team Support: Assist the Client Servicing Team in achieving shared goals and responsibilities.
