Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is hiring a Client Services Technician for our Melville, NY laboratory. The role supports the sample receiving department in a full-time onsite capacity, with an afternoon shift from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

Training will be provided to help you excel in a laboratory environment and contribute to accurate data handling. You will coordinate sample movements, maintain tracking systems, and participate in essential policies and practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods, endure odors and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform sample-related activities including shipping, receiving, processing, and administration.
• Maintain and update documentation, logs, and databases for accurate sample tracking.
• Participate in training on core laboratory support policies, programs, and practices.

This is a full-time, onsite, Client Services Tech 1 position located in Melville, NY, Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Compensation: $18 per hour

The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. Market conditions, budgetary considerations, and organizational compensation guidelines may also influence the final offer.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in training on core laboratory support policies, programs, and practices.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required. We’ll train you!
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods, work around strong odors, and wear required PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — all provided by Pace®).

Work is performed in a lab and office setting. Work is subject chemicals, fumes, gases, noxious odors and related items in a lab setting.
