Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is seeking a Client Services Technician in Austin, TX to support the sample receiving department of our environmental testing laboratory. You will receive training and begin building a laboratory sciences career at Pace®.

This is an entry level position, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 9:00 AM–6:00 PM shifts. You’ll drive to client sites to collect samples, unload and log them, and prepare kits while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods, work around strong smells, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves).
• Ability to lift 20-30 pounds frequently, up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client offices and job sites to pick up samples and drop off supplies.
• Unload and receive client samples.
• Triage client samples and determine sample type.
• Unpack and repack coolers for shipment to other labs.
• Assemble client sample kits according to guidelines.
• Maintain and stock supplies to meet kit demands.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining the office.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. • Ability to lift 20-30 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds on occasion.
