Qualifications

• General working knowledge of Salvation Army Social Service policies and procedures.
• Experience with Food Stamps, DES Assistance, and Vouchers.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients for assistance.
• Update information on each client interviewed and serviced.
• Organize and keep food pantry stocked.
• Maintain pantry area tidy for service.
• Act as backup receptionist and answer office phone.
• Maintain social service office files.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

General working knowledge of Salvation Army Social Service policies and procedures

Experience in Food Stamps and DES Assistance procedures

Working knowledge of filing systems

Ability to pass a criminal background check

Education

High School Graduate or equivalent
