Job summary

ManhattanLife Insurance and Annuity Company in Houston, TX is seeking a Client Services Coordinator (Bilingual) to provide exceptional service to international policyholders and agents. You will process policy servicing, payments, and changes, while maintaining accurate records in a dynamic office environment.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in business or related field and strong bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish or Portuguese.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.
  • Bilingual required (Spanish or Portuguese preferred).
  • Strong bilingual verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Dependable and flexible with a professional attitude.
  • Prior experience with life insurance or investment products is beneficial.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams, Webex, IBM AS400, AdminSeg and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Process servicing requests for in-force international policies.
  • Respond to agent and policyholder inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Process premium payments, withdrawals, and policy transactions.
  • Coordinate policy changes, reinstatements and other admin requests.
  • Maintain accurate policy records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with testing of administrative systems and enhancements.
  • Identify operational issues and recommend improvements.
  • Provide backup support during peak workloads.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve policy administration issues.
  • Adhere to company procedures and service standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Scope and Purpose:

We are seeking a Junior International Policy Services Representative for our growing international team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service and operational support to international policyholders, agents, and internal departments by administering in-force policies and supporting day-to-day policy operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process servicing requests for in-force international insurance policies.
  • Respond to agent and policyholder inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Process premium payments, withdrawals, and other policy transactions.
  • Coordinate policy changes, reinstatements, and other administrative requests.
  • Maintain accurate policy records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with testing of administrative systems, enhancements, and new functionality.
  • Identify operational issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Provide backup support for new business process improvements.
  • Provide backup support for new business processing during peak workloads or staff absences.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve policy administration issues.
  • Ensure adherence to Company procedures and service standards.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or in a related field. Bilingual required, Spanish or Portuguese preferred .

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must have strong bilingual verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
  • Must be dependable and flexible.
  • Maintain a professional attitude in challenging situations.
  • Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision and errors.
  • Must be able to prioritize and discern when items must be escalated.
  • Have a knack for improving processes and procedures.
  • Experience with life insurance or investment products is beneficial.
  • Proficient technical skills using various programs and applications such as Microsoft Office, Teams, Webex, IBM AS400, AdminSeg, SharePoint, etc.
Travel Requirements:

This position may require light travel within a ten-mile radius from one office location to another as needed.
