Covenant Wealth Advisors, based in Reston, VA, is hiring a Client Service Associate to own the firm's operational engine: opening new accounts, moving assets securely, and keeping client records accurate across Fidelity Wealthscape, Schwab Advisor Center, and Wealthbox.
This behind-the-scenes operations role supports the advisory team and reports to the Client Service Manager. A background in financial services operations and proficiency with MS Office are required.
At Covenant Wealth Advisors, we help people who've spent decades building their savings retire with confidence. We're a fee-only, fiduciary investment advisory firm - which simply means our clients pay us directly and we're legally obligated to put their interests first, always. No commissions, no product sales, no conflicts.
We're a close-knit team that takes the work seriously without taking ourselves too seriously. We believe in doing things right the first time, backing decisions with data, and celebrating the people who make the details happen. And we're growing - which is where you come in.
Behind every smooth client experience is someone who made it look easy. That's this role. As our Client Service Associate, you'll own the operational engine of the firm: opening new accounts, moving assets and money securely, and keeping every client record accurate and current. You'll work daily in Fidelity and Schwab's advisor platforms and our CRM (Wealthbox), making sure every transaction is right, on time, and fully documented.
This is a behind-the-scenes operations role - not an advisory or sales position - based in our Reston, VA (Northern VA) office. You'll report to our Client Service Manager and work hand-in-hand with our advisory team, who will know your name and appreciate your work. When you catch the error nobody else saw, people here notice.
You take real pride in accuracy - not because someone's checking, but because that's who you are. You handle confidential information with discretion, stay steady when priorities shift, and like being part of a team where doing right by the client is the whole point. You're coachable, you ask good questions, and you'd rather flag a concern early than hope it works out.
If you've been the dependable operations person at your firm - the one advisors trust to just handle it - we'd love to meet you.
This role requires the ability to operate a computer for extended periods, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role.
