Job summary

Relation Insurance Services, Inc. - Central is seeking a Client Service Specialist to support client files and act as the front-line administrative processor for day-to-day client servicing.

You will stay informed on insurance products and work with clients and internal teams professionally. Daily duties include coordinating with Account Managers, preparing reports, assisting with wellness program initiatives, and helping develop proposals and marketing materials.

Qualifications

• Life, Health and Accident License required within 90 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Customer Service.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; may be required, depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing administrative support and coordinates with Account Managers and other service team members to ensure that clients receive all key deliverables in a timely and accurate manner.
• Meets with clients and insurance company representatives as requested by Sales and Account Management teams.
• Creates client monthly, quarterly and annual reports utilizing Relation templates and software.
• Assists with development of all marketing, communication, and presentation materials including client’s employee benefits guides, communication materials and enrollment.
• Fully adopts innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, into the service process to deliver a best-in-class client service experience.

The Client Service Specialist assists with maintaining customer files and acts as the front-line administrative processor related to the day-to-day servicing of the client. The person in this position remains knowledgeable of advances in the insurance business, stays abreast of the types of insurance products available and works with clients and others in a professional manner.

A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAY

• Provides ongoing administrative support and coordinates with Account Managers and other service team members to ensure that clients receive all key deliverables in a timely and accurate manner.
• Serves as secondary contact and internal back up for Account Manager.
• Meets with clients and insurance company representatives as requested by Sales and Account Management teams.
• Creates client monthly, quarterly and annual reports utilizing Relation templates and software.
• Prepares other various reports as requested.
• Assists client in developing and/or refining wellness programs including coordination of health fair vendor participation.
• Assists with the preparation and assembling of proposals.
• Assists with development of all marketing, communication, and presentation materials including client’s employee benefits guides, communication materials and enrollment Develops and maintains carrier files with all updated contracts and correspondence.
• Provides support for the research and preparation of communication materials distributed to clients regarding government and legal compliance issues and or requirements.
• Fully adopts innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, into the service process to deliver a best-in-class client service experience.
• Performs other projects, duties, and tasks, as assigned.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE

• A Life, Health and Accident License from state of domicile is required within 90 days of hire and must be maintained thereafter.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Customer Service.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; may be required, depending on location.
• Life, Health and Accident insurance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of insurance markets, products, services insurance ratings and underwriting procedures preferred.
• Prior experience with agency management systems software and online rating systems preferred.
• Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis on Excel).
• Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new software.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills are required to maintain effective relationships with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and others.
• Must be able to understand written and oral communications and interpret information written within policies.
• Ability to work independently with limited daily supervision and to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to function effectively under tight time constraints, consistently meets strict deadlines, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment.
