Job summary

State Street Corporation in the United States/Massachusetts is seeking a Client Service Operations – Assistant Vice President to lead day-to-day management and long-term relationships of assigned accounts. You will oversee client relationships across large teams and coordinate with internal groups to ensure service excellence.

• BS/BA degree required. Minimum of 7 years of related experience in financial services.
• Experience in relationship management, strong verbal and written communications skills, and some experience with presentations a must.

• Knowledge of computer systems, financial operations and/or mutual fund and related industries a plus.
• MBA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management and long-term relationships of assigned accounts.
• Lead client relationship teams for large-sized accounts.
• Begin to focus on strategic aspects of maintaining and growing long-term relationships.
• Ensure superior client satisfaction by acting as an advocate for clients and ensuring client issues are satisfactorily resolved.
• Proactive identification of client needs and potential internal issues impacting client satisfaction.
• Work closely with internal teams and clients.
• Facilitate communication between Client Service Operations & other business units to ensure an effective operating environment.
• Work with senior management keeping them informed of new developments, service issues, and new business opportunities.
• May be responsible for client retention and revenue expansion through existing services and cross-sell.
• Identify potential barriers to exit through strategic value-added services.
• May be asked to develop and present fee proposals to VP or SVP for review and approval.
• May negotiate fees on relationships individually managed.
• Ensure fee schedules are properly implemented, and receivables are collected in a timely manner.
• Provide overall project management for client related initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between business units to ensure successful implementation.
• Manage internal and client expectations.
• Manage conversion/start-up of new client relationships with input/contact from VP or SVP.
• Prepare internal risk and compliance profiles, respond to inquiries from client auditors and periodically reviews client invoices for accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you will be responsible for

As a Client Service Operations – Assistant Vice President you will Responsible for the day to day management and successful long-term relationships of assigned accounts.

Salary Range

Salary Range: $80,000 - $140,000 Annual. The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
