Job summary

United Business Bank is seeking an experienced Client Service Officer (CSO) to handle on-site client deposit services, account management and cross-selling opportunities at the Grand Lake branch. The CSO will open, manage, and close various account types, assist with online banking and deposits, and support branch leadership as needed.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in financial services, strong communication, professionalism, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Some college or equivalent training.
• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years' related experience in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of banking and deposit operations and procedures.
• Experience in customer service and cross-selling.

Responsibilities

• Assist new and existing clients with establishing deposit products and services, including checking, savings, money market, CDs, online banking, remote deposit capture and ACH.
• Open and close accounts, renew CDs, and assist clients with bookkeeping and account problems.
• Answer clients' questions regarding the Bank's products and services and perform account maintenance duties.
• Cross-sell the Bank's products and services.
• Back-up the Assistant Client Service Manager, the Client Service Manager or the Branch Manager when needed.

About the Position...

The Client Service Officer (CSO) is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities.

The Client Service Officer I (CSO) is responsible for assisting new and existing clients with establishing deposit products and services including checking accounts, savings accounts, money market accounts, certificates of deposit accounts, online banking services, remote deposit capture and ACH services in a prompt, courteous, efficient and professional manner. This includes opening and closing accounts, renewing certificates of deposits, and assisting clients with bookkeeping and account problems. The CSO is also responsible for Teller functions, including balancing each day’s transactions and verifying cash totals. The CSO answers clients’ questions regarding the Bank’s products and services and performs a variety of account maintenance duties. They are responsible for actively cross selling the Bank’s products and services, as well as for performing other functions such as signature verification and other clerical duties. The CSO will also back-up the Assistant Client Service Manager, the Client Service Manager or the Branch Manager and cover the branch and personnel in their absence. The CSO performs all duties accurately, timely and efficiently, and according to Bank policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines. They will also perform a variety of other daily tasks as assigned.

Education/Certification

Some college or equivalent training. Bachelors Degree in business or related field preferred.

Required Knowledge

Knowledge of banking and deposit operations and procedures, as well as general office systems and procedures.

Experience Required

Minimum of 3 to 5 years' related experience in the financial services industry.

Compensation

Hiring Salary Range: $26.00 to $31.00.

This compensation information is United Business Bank's good-faith estimate and is provided pursuant to Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
