Job summary

Holmes Murphy in Kansas City, MO is offering a Client Service Internship for Summer 2027. This 10-week, on-site program gives hands-on exposure to the insurance industry and rotating experiences across brokerage services.

As an intern, you will support client relationships, assist in day-to-day service, help prepare materials for presentations, and learn from mentors and leaders in the company, while building your professional network and skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or pursuing enrollment at a 4-year institution.
• Majors listed include Business Administration, Finance, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Health Promotion, Risk Management & Insurance.
• Prior work experience is a plus, preferably in a customer service or administrative role.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in managing existing client relationships
• Handling day-to-day service needs
• Assisting in ensuring clients receive timely and accurate information
• Assisting the sales and services teams with marketing of new and renewal business to include gathering needed information
• Assisting the sales and service teams with preparation & creation of materials for presentations
• Attending client meetings
• Assisting in supporting the sales team by delivering on agreements made during the sales process
• Additional duties as assigned
