Holmes Murphy & Associates in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Client Service Consultant to support the Property Casualty team. You will understand client operations, prepare renewal documents, and market renewals to underwriters.

The role requires 2+ years in insurance-related customer service or risk management, and a Property & Casualty license or plan to obtain within 3 months. Collaborative, client-focused professionals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in customer service, underwriting, or risk management in the insurance industry.
• Active state license for Property & Casualty or ability to obtain license within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years customer service, underwriting, or risk management experience in the insurance industry.
• Licensing: Active state specific Property Casualty Insurance agent’s license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.

Skills & Technical Competencies: Invests in understanding and applying insurance principles to consult with clients and meet their strategic needs. Actively contributes to workflows, processes, and deliverables, using agency systems to provide a world‑class client experience and ensure compliance. Able to understand clients, prioritize tasks, manage status, and deliver impactful solutions proactively.
