Brown Edwards in Bristol, TN is seeking a Client Service Associate to support Advisors and the BEWS team in delivering accurate client service. This role focuses on preparing materials, managing accounts, maintaining CRM data, and coordinating workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative and operational support to Advisors and the BEWS team to ensure timely and accurate client service.
  • Assists with preparation of client meeting materials, reports, and documentation.
  • Supports account administration activities, including new account setup, maintenance requests, and processing of service items.
  • Maintains accurate client information in CRM systems and other firm-supported platforms.
  • Coordinates internal workflows, tracks open items, and escalates issues as needed.
  • Interacts with clients via phone, email, and electronic correspondence professionally.
  • Assists with document management, record retention, and compliance filing requirements.
  • Learns firm systems, tools, and procedures and applies them accurately.
  • Collaborates with Advisors, Client Relationship Specialists, and Operations to support service delivery.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve internal processes and communicates suggestions.
  • Participates in training to deepen knowledge of firm services and wealth management operations.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Maintains firm confidentiality and adheres to the Associate Handbook policies.
  • Develops understanding of the firm’s vision, plan, and strategies and their role.
  • Works sufficient hours needed to complete projects assigned.

We are seeking a Client Service Associate to join our team in Bristol, TN!

What your day looks like:
  • Provides administrative and operational support to Advisors and the BEWS team to ensure timely and accurate client service.
  • Assists with preparation of client meeting materials, reports, and documentation.
  • Supports account administration activities, including new account setup, maintenance requests, and processing of service items in accordance with firm and custodian requirements.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date client information in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other firm-supported platforms.
  • Coordinates internal workflows, tracks open items, and escalates issues or questions appropriately.
  • Interacts with clients via phone, email, and electronic correspondence in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assists with document management, record retention, and compliance-related filing requirements.
  • Learns firm systems, tools, and procedures and applies them consistently and accurately.
  • Collaborates with Advisors, Client Relationship Specialists, and Operations team members to support overall client service delivery.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve internal processes and client service workflows and communicates suggestions to appropriate team members.
  • Participates in training activities to build knowledge of firm services, procedures, and wealth management operations.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Maintains firm confidentiality.
  • Follows firm policies by conforming to procedures outlined in the Associate Handbook.
  • Develops an understanding of the firm’s vision, plan, and strategies and their role in achieving them.

What you need for this role:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education or relevant experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated interest in financial services, wealth management, or professional services.
  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
  • General experience using Microsoft Office software applications and ability to learn firm-supported technology platforms.
  • Ability to work accurately with detailed information while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of client service principles and professional standards expected in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with clients, Advisors, and team members.
  • Commitment to learning firm services, systems, and processes and to ongoing professional development.
