Job summary

Coldstream is hiring a Client Service Associate in Bellevue, WA. You’ll support the wealth management team, managing client data, scheduling meetings, and onboarding new clients. The role offers growth paths within the Registered Investment Advisor space.

Expect 1-3 years in customer service, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office; Salesforce/Tamarac knowledge is a plus. Hybrid schedule with 2-3 days in office and training approx 4-5 days/week.

As a Client Service Associate, you will learn the Registered Investment Advisor industry from the ground up and have multiple career paths to choose from.

This position is based in Bellevue, with team hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The team follows a hybrid schedule, working in the office 2-3 days per week (Tuesday through Thursday), with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. During the initial training period, new team members should expect to work in the office 4-5 days per week.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Serving as a liaison between clients and custodians/investment managers, including managing client information and handling all cashiering and money movement requests
• Scheduling and organizing client meetings and proactively preparing meeting materials
• Coordinating the new client onboarding process:
• Opening brokerage accounts, establishing cashiering needs, and setting up online reporting access
• Updating cost basis, tracking required minimum distributions, and reconciling account information
• Sending and receiving documents to and from clients and their advisors and investment custodians
• Entering client data and activity notes in our CRM system

Experience And Skills

• 1-3 years of customer service experience and the desire to provide superior client service in a team-oriented environment
• Interest in building a career in the wealth management industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce CRM and/or Tamarac portfolio accounting (or similar systems) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, including proper grammar and punctuation
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow established processes consistently
• Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Excellent reliability
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred due to future career path requirements

Job Benefits

In terms of pay expectations, we assess each candidate individually based on their experience and qualifications and offer competitive compensation that reflects the value they bring to the team. The full salary range for this position is $60k - $80k. However, $60k - $70k is what we expect to pay for this opening to start, plus an annual bonus and a generous benefits package.
