Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co. seeks a seasoned Client Reporting Analyst to design, automate, and maintain reports and dashboards for management decision making. The role involves ETL development, data modeling, and collaboration with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs.

You will build scalable data pipelines, ensure data quality, and contribute to end-to-end reporting platforms for Global Markets Operations. 40-hour weeks in NY is expected.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data warehousing, data modeling, building data pipelines, and data visualizations.
  • Experience orchestrating data using directed acyclic graph (DAG) concepts.
  • Experience providing data solutions for reporting and analytics teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Experience with code management tools such as GIT.
  • Advanced MS SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and maintains innovative automated reports, dashboards, and scorecards using BI tools including MicroStrategy and Tableau.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated data ETL processes from various database platforms, storing data in relational tables.
  • Analyzes disparate database sources including relational structures, dimensional models, and cubes.
  • Designs and builds relational data models to support reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
  • Partners with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Creates and maintains required standard documentation including metadata and workflows.
  • Works collaboratively in a cross-functional team and provides updates on project calls.
  • Assembles large, complex data sets meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Maintains, improves, cleans, and manipulates large data for operations and analytics.
  • Builds complex processes supporting data transformation, structures, metadata, data quality controls, and workload management.
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines ingesting data from external sources for BI analytics teams.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and process issues.
  • Leverage processes to monitor data quality and ensure production data availability.

This job is responsible for developing reports to support management decision making. Key responsibilities include performing all phases of the report development process, participating in client meetings to understand needs and develop requirements, conducting data research and data discovery, sourcing data—including data automation—creating report visualizations, and managing report deployment, including user onboarding. Job expectations include developing, maintaining, or enhancing components of large reporting platforms to deliver comprehensive end-to-end reporting solutions.

Global Data and Reporting Operations within Global Markets Operations is looking for a seasoned Client Reporting Analyst.

Responsibilities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains innovative automated reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Business Intelligence tools including MicroStrategy and Tableau
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated data Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes from various database platforms, storing data in ‘Fit for Use’ relational tables
  • Analyzes disparate database sources including relational structures, dimensional data models, and cubes
  • Designs and builds relational data models to support the development of actionable reports, dashboards, and scorecards
  • Partners with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Creates and maintains required standard documentation including metadata, detailed workflows documenting programs, and desktop procedures
  • Works collaboratively in a cross‑functional team, learns from colleagues, and provides routine updates on calls related to projects
  • Assembles large, complex data sets that meet functional and non‑functional requirements, ensuring consistency across data sets
  • Maintains, improves, cleans, and manipulates large data for operational and analytics use

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve unexpected performance and process fail issues
  • Leverage processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it

Pay range

$25.00 - $37.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
