Job summary

HANYS, The Healthcare Association of New York State, seeks a Manager, Client Relationship Management within its TruePlan subsidiary in New York. The role focuses on managing all aspects of the client relationship for retirement and benefits programs.

Travel across Western NY and to the Rensselaer, NY office is required, with a remote option within New York State. Salary ranges from $99,000 to $103,000 annually plus up to 10% incentive, based on experience and performance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree plus 3–5 years of related experience; bachelor’s degree preferred, may substitute for education requirement.
• New York State Life, Accident and Health license required or obtained within 6 months post hire.
• Series 7 and 66, or Series 6, 63 and 65 required or obtained within 6 months post hire.
• Must present to senior staff and provide consultative value to clients.
• Knowledge of retirement plan regulations (403(b), 401(k), non-qualified).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Self-starter with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Able to travel within assigned territory to meet clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong client relationships to ensure superior service.
• Manage RFP/RFI processes for existing clients.
• Coordinate transitions with client, vendor, and staff for new clients.
• Develop annual client communication plans to achieve retirement goals.
• Educate on plan design, operation, and effectiveness for client goals.
• Conduct periodic plan reviews for governance and compliance.
• Assist in employee enrollment and sales presentations as needed.
• Travel regularly to meet clients and visit the Rensselaer office.
