Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a senior data analytics professional to lead analytical work for consumer and small business product spaces. You will source, transform, and analyze data across systems, define KPIs, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for marketing, product, and tech teams.

The role emphasizes data storytelling, governance, and collaboration to drive product adoption and business impact, with a strong in-office culture and 40 hours per week in the Albany

Qualifications

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree with strong quantitative background in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience in product analytics, customer analytics, marketing analytics, portfolio analytics, or business performance analytics.
  • Experience evaluating product performance, customer engagement, journeys, and outcomes including adoption, usage, retention, and attrition.
  • Ability to define and track KPIs, develop practical measurement frameworks, and assess business impact.
  • Working knowledge of advanced analytical techniques including segmentation, behavioral analytics, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and test-and-learn methods.
  • Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Consumer and Business Payments ecosystems and Merchant Acquiring solutions.
  • Fluency in Python and SQL.
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases including Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop, SAS-Grid, and Starburst.
  • Experience with BI platforms such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, and ThoughtSpot.
  • Ability to use AI-powered tools to accelerate analysis while following controls and standards.
  • Ability to collaborate across product, marketing, technology, data, and governance teams.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, learn new technologies, and apply emerging analytical techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Source, integrate, and transform data across relational and non-relational platforms using SQL, Python, Spark/Scala, SAS to create meaningful measures and outputs.
  • Translate business and product questions into analytical frameworks; apply segmentation, behavioral, and test‑learn techniques to develop actionable recommendations.
  • Evaluate product performance and customer journeys by defining and monitoring metrics related to adoption, usage, engagement, retention, attrition, and business impact.
  • Partner with product, marketing, technology, data governance, and business teams to clarify requirements, align priorities, and deliver outcomes.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences via data storytelling, visualizations, and actionable recommendations using PowerPoint, Excel, and Tableau.
  • Validate data and outputs; resolve inconsistencies and follow governance and continuity requirements for trusted metrics.
  • Lead complex initiatives, manage competing priorities, and support the development of people and team capabilities.

This job is responsible for leading analytical work efforts for projects within the consumer and small business product space. Key responsibilities include leveraging databases to acquire client, product, and performance data; transforming data into meaningful insights and trends; and delivering recommendations that support business and product decisions. Job expectations include partnering with marketing, product, and technology teams to translate questions into analytical approaches, define and monitor key performance indicators, evaluate product adoption and outcomes, and communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay range

$135,000.00 - $163,300.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
