Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC seeks a Client Project Manager to onboard new clients, configure data in LIMS, and manage cross-functional project delivery. You will build relationships, coordinate with lab operations, and ensure on-time, quality results while driving client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include ongoing client education, issue resolution, and retention initiatives in partnership with sales and operations. A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of CS experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Two (2) years of customer service or client-facing experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills for multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication to engage clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Problem-solving mindset with issue identification and resolution.
  • High attention to detail with focus on accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new clients by training on products and services and set up client data in LIMS.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships; serve as primary client contact for inquiries and escalations.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins to ensure satisfaction and address needs.
  • Monitor lab sample progress to keep projects on schedule.
  • Coordinate with lab departments for timely project execution and issue resolution.
  • Provide ongoing client education to maximize product and service use.
  • Monitor client health and retention risks; develop renewal strategies with sales and operations.
  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and report to sales/ops.
  • Lead project planning with lab ops, sales, and clients; ensure accurate setup and pricing.
  • Identify, track and resolve project issues promptly.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality and client requirements; incorporate feedback for improvement.
  • Manage end-to-end communications and closeout activities including invoicing.
  • Contribute to team efficiency and Pace’s mission through professional interactions.

Client Project Manager Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The salary for this position reflects a variety of factors. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. Market conditions, budgetary considerations, and organizational compensation guidelines may also influence the final offer.

What You’ll Do
  • Onboard new clients by providing comprehensive training on products and services and accurately setting up client data and profiles in LIMS
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships; serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations
  • Conduct regular client check-ins to ensure satisfaction and proactively address needs
  • Monitor sample progress throughout the lab to ensure project timelines are on track
  • Coordinate with laboratory departments to ensure timely project execution and resolution of issues
  • Provide ongoing education and training to clients to maximize product and service utilization
  • Monitor client health, identify potential churn risks, and develop retention and renewal strategies in partnership with sales and operations
  • Identify upselling and cross-sell opportunities and communicate findings to sales and operations teams - should this be a part of the bullet two above?
  • Lead project planning and timing with lab operations, sales, and clients; ensure accurate setup in LIMS, correct pricing, and clear communication
  • Identify, track, and resolve project issues promptly
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements; incorporate feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage end-to-end project communication and coordination, including status reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and project closeout activities (deliverables, client satisfaction, invoicing)
  • Contribute to departmental efficiency through suggestions and active participation as a team member
  • Promote Pace’s mission through professional, courteous, and cooperative interactions with customers and staff
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, chemistry, biology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Two (2) years of customer service or client-facing experience
