Highmark Health is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mid-size to large initiatives in a hybrid role. Candidates residing within 50 miles of a Highmark office are expected to be in-office Tue–Thu; remote work is available for others.

You will drive all phases of the project lifecycle, manage scope, budget, risk, and stakeholder communications, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results in healthcare and health insurance contexts.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in project management delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, and Asana.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans with schedules, resources, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Define and manage project scope, changes, and objectives.
  • Allocate resources and monitor performance to meet deadlines.
  • Engage stakeholders and report project status and artifacts.

Company :Highmark HealthJob Description :JOB SUMMARYThis role offers a hybrid work model for candidates residing within 50 miles of a Highmark office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in-office). Remote work is available for those outside this radius.***CANDIDATE MUST BE US Citizen (due to contractual/access requirements)***This role is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ranging from mid-size to large individual initiatives. The individual in this role will lead all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This includes managing resources, mitigating risks, and fostering effective communication amongst stakeholders. The role requires a high degree of organizational skill, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessments. Proactively identify and mitigate potential project roadblocks.Scope Management: Define and manage project scope, ensuring all deliverables align with business objectives. Manage changes to scope effectively and efficiently.Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources (human, financial, and material) effectively to optimize performance and meet project deadlines.Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, communicating project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing appropriate corrective actions.
