Job Title: Client Partner- (Utilities)

About the job you’re considering

As a Client Partner, your primary responsibility is to foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with Capgemini solutions and services while driving the growth and expansion of our business within assigned client(s). Reporting to the Global Client Partner, this role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of both technology and business. You will be responsible for managing a book of business within the global relationship with the client by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring the successful structuring of proposals and solutions that generate successful delivery. The Client Partner plays a crucial role in achieving the company's relationship, market, financial, and people growth.

Your Role
  • Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with assigned clients. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understand their needs, and shape effective solutions. Develop relationships that enable you to identify world‑class win themes and the price to win, so as to differentiate Capgemini competitively. Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges and align business solutions to meet their needs. Address and resolve client concerns, issues, or escalations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Business identification and acquisition – Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations. Identify opportunities for upselling or cross‑selling additional solutions and services. Build a $75M sales pipeline by prospecting and qualifying potential clients. Work closely with the sales‑support team to develop compelling proposals and pitches.
  • Orchestrate the Broader Capgemini Organization – Establish and develop strong relationships with internal Capgemini organizations and leaders. Identify and develop third‑party partner opportunities to create unique value distinction in the market. Leverage the broad internal Capgemini sales community to maximize our presence.
  • Project Oversight – Provide oversight and monitoring of project financials within your book of business to meet or exceed global financial targets. Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery. Provide guidance on customized solutions to meet client requirements. Serve as a liaison between clients and internal technical teams, ensuring effective communication. Coordinate the delivery of solutions, managing timelines and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Team Collaboration – Role model our five core tenets of Courage, Accountability, Passion, Discipline, and Teamwork. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including delivery, marketing, and operations. Contribute to client team engagement activities such as All Hands, Newsletters, Awards, and Client Visits. Provide leadership and mentorship to the client team.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting – Establish and track key performance indicators to measure the success of business development initiatives. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date account documentation, including THOR entries, contracts, project plans, and client communications. Provide regular reports on account status, pipeline updates, project progress, and customer satisfaction.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Must have direct related experience selling into accounts generating revenue at $50MM and above.
  • The CP will be recognized and known as a subject matter expert within the Oil & Gas industry and well adept at knowing market trends to proactively secure deals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development with a track record of successful client acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of technology trends, business solutions, and industry best practices.
  • Strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel globally as needed.
