Job summary

Republic Business Credit, a subsidiary of Renasant Bank, is seeking a Client Onboarding Specialist to support and manage end-to-end client onboarding in a compliant manner. You will work across underwriting, client services, legal, and acquisition teams to assess new clients for funding readiness.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding of new clients in line with Credit Policy across underwriting, client services, legal and acquisition teams.
• Collaborate with team leads and managers to review client documentation for policy compliance.
• Ensure new client records meet all KYC, lien, and banking documentation requirements.
• Input and maintain client information in the system accurately and timely.
• Monitor intake processes to meet targets and deadlines.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders throughout onboarding.
• Review and update required documentation lists and escalate discrepancies.
• Support underwriting in all phases of the onboarding and funding process.

Overview

Employer: Republic Business Credit, a subsidiary of Renasant Bank

This position serves Republic Business Credit, a subsidiary of Renasant Bank. The Client Onboarding Specialist will support activities to assess and bring new clients to funding in compliance with the Credit Policy. The role primarily supports the Client Acquisition, Client Services, Legal, and Underwriting teams across its suite of products, including factoring, traditional factoring, and asset-based lending. The position owns and manages the end‑to‑end client onboarding process.

The individual will proactively learn, engage and develop a meaningful awareness of the commercial finance industry.

The Client Onboarding Specialist represents Republic both internally and to the external marketplace with professionalism and excellent communication skills throughout the client lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Underwriting, Client Services, Legal, and Client Acquisition teams to assist in making informed credit decisions.
• Collaborate with Factoring Team Lead, Underwriting Manager, Legal, and Client Services teams to review and assess existing clients for compliance with policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with credit standards for new clients being introduced.
• Maintain up‑to‑date understanding of the company, its products, client base, and market to implement effective and competitive credit controls.
• Stay current with Republic Business Credit's operating procedures as set out in the Credit Policy, How to Guide, and other business resources.
• Maintain and uphold the highest standards of customer service throughout the onboarding process.
• Establish and maintain a professional and efficient relationship with allocated customers and internal stakeholders, including contacting customers or representatives to obtain additional information or explanation details throughout underwriting and funding.
• Review documentation including bank statements, KYC documentation, lien searches, and ensure all files are kept up to date.
• Provide and update lists of required documentation from prospective clients while escalating any discrepancies, concerns or unusual activity to management.
• Ensure customer information is input into the system efficiently and accurately, with all required checks processed and invoices uploaded prior to cut‑off times.
• Achieve targets and deadlines through effective planning, organization, and management of the intake process.
• Ensure appropriate practices and procedures are followed to uphold standards within the portfolio.
• Review and propose appropriate credit control systems, best practices, and processes.
• Support the SVP Team Lead and Underwriting in all aspects of the underwriting process.
• Represent the interests of the company internally and externally.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation: Hourly compensation rate equates to an annual base salary ranging from $50,000 - $65,000. Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, education/training, and candidate’s work experience.
