Northwestern Medicine is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist in Deerfield (24 hours per week) to join our clinical team. The role requires phlebotomy experience and a strong focus on patient service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include venipuncture, sample processing, and order entry across multiple systems, with adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Monday–Friday shift availability is required, at the client site in Deerfield.
This is a part-time, 24 hours per week, phlebotomy position located at a client site in Deerfield.
Must be able to work Monday 8am - 2pm; Tuesday 11am - 3pm; Wednesday 8am - 2pm; Thursday 11am - 3pm; Friday 8am - 12pm.
The Phlebotomist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Phlebotomist provides expert phlebotomy services and must demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills. The phlebotomist must have the ability to function as part of a highly effective team that consistently puts “Patients First”.
The Phlebotomist is responsible for venipuncture collection and specimen processing. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to order entry in multiple systems, verification of test result receipt, patient information retrieval and lab reception/clerical duties and functions.
