The work culminates in novel investment insights that inform client thinking.

Client Investment Research Analysts are embedded across several Front‑Office departments and drive critical projects in the following areas:

  • Total Portfolio Strategies – partnering with Pillar Heads and Senior Investors to shape client‑focused research and deliver investment insights.
  • Client Service – acting as an in‑house investment advisory partner, providing tailored insights and advice on performance and portfolio positions.
Responsibilities
  • Understand Bridgewater’s book of business, investment thinking, and commercial strategy.
  • Collaborate with Client Advisors, research teams, and other professionals to design high‑quality client engagements.
  • Apply analytical skills, market knowledge, and insight into Bridgewater’s methodology to shape investment thinking and create client‑ready reports.
  • Use existing tools and methodologies to identify solutions, and contribute to new tools, models, or automated processes that improve client service.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong academic and extracurricular track record.
  • Interest in and understanding of markets and investing.
  • Ability to solve complex problems through analysis.
  • Aptitude for creative quantitative work involving financial and economic data.
  • Humility, innate curiosity, openness to new ideas, goal‑oriented, confident, and aggressive problem‑solving skills.
