Job summary

Dreiss Insurance Agency is seeking a Customer Service Representative to maintain strong client relationships by addressing inquiries and servicing policies with speed and professionalism. You will interact with clients, carriers, and team members daily.

Responsibilities include updating policies, quoting, taking payments, and supporting producers. The role requires insurance knowledge and a customer-focused, detail-oriented mindset in a growing agency.

Qualifications

• Hold Texas insurance license or obtain within 90 days (fees provided).
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products, ratings, underwriting, coverages, and industry operations.
• Strong customer focus and excellent phone manner; strong written and verbal communication; good math and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to existing clients: update policies, provide quotes, take payments, answer questions, and provide documentation.
• Answer calls and correspondence about new or existing policies and service all claims.
• Support new clients or producers to understand needs, gather data, research options, present, bind new coverage, and renewals.
• Set appointments or calls to review policies, liabilities, exposures, coverages, and renewals.
• Inform customers about products and services, quote new business, process renewals, take payments, and provide documents.
• Resolve issues by clarifying concerns, determining causes, presenting best solutions, expediting corrections, and following up.
• Review audits or policies; verify accuracy and facilitate corrections between client and carrier.
• Maintain records of interactions in the agency management system.
• Collaborate with team, mentor staff, participate in meetings.
