Job summary

Edward Jones is hiring a Registered Branch Associate in Ohio to support client relationships and daily branch operations. You will gather client information, open accounts, and assist with portfolio discussions under the guidance of a Financial Advisor.

The role requires FINRA licenses (Series 7 and 66) or progression toward them, and compliance with regulatory training. A strong focus on teamwork and continuous development is emphasized within a supportive, client-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in securities/financial services industry preferred.
• Series 7 and Series 66 required; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained during the study period.
• FINRA registrations are required within three months. State insurance licenses are also required.

Responsibilities

• Deepening relationships with existing clients.
• Gather information and collect suitability information to open new accounts.
• Research portfolio performance, cost/fees, asset allocation, and make recommendations to the Financial Advisor.
• Execute Financial Advisor solicited buy/sell orders and confirm with clients.
• Answer general client questions regarding Edward Jones stock recommendations and withdrawals.
• Actively business plan and work as a team to continuously evaluate and execute branch strategies.
• Continually develop yourself to grow personally and professionally.
