Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a customer-focused professional in Merrill, WI to welcome customers, offer digital/banking guidance, and collaborate with partners to grow customer relationships. You will identify opportunities to cross-sell personal banking and investment solutions while executing transactions efficiently.

You will engage customers with needs-based conversations, provide best-in-class service, and support branch operations and compliance in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Typically between 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
• Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales role, with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
• Basic knowledge of specialized banking solutions to refer to specialists.
• Readiness to collaborate and work in different capacities as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and guides customers in the branch lobby, offering advice on digital and self-serve options.
• Collaborates with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities to grow customer relationships.
• As a lobby leader, conducts client conversations about banking services and provides personal banking and investment guidance.
• Meets customer transaction-based needs with seamless execution.
• Reviews customer profiles to address everyday banking and credit card needs.
