Qualifications

• 2-3 years of software development experience
• At least 2 years of Python experience
• 2+ years working in Linux/Unix environments
• Experience using version control tools (Git, GitHub, or GitLab)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Professional fluency in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Must be authorized to work in Sweden
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of software development experience
• 4+ years of Python experience
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Background in airline operations, crew planning, or optimization
• Relational databases and data modeling
• Test-driven development tools (Gherkin, Behave, Pytest)
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Linux system administration and shell scripting
• Kubernetes, virtual machines, and enterprise integrations
• Functional programming concepts

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with customers to gather requirements and understand business objectives
• Configure and customize Crew Planning and Operations software using Python and a proprietary rule-based language (Rave)
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and clearly explain design decisions to clients
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while managing expectations
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and delivery efficiency
• Develop and execute automated test cases using a test-driven development approach
