Job summary

Fres-co System USA, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Preconstruction Manager to lead day-to-day preconstruction on commercial/multifamily projects. Build Owner/design partner relationships, shape budgets and plans before award, and stay involved through planning to execution.

You’ll protect the Owner from cost surprises by real-time budget management and grow from one project to several with mentorship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of PM or preconstruction experience with a GC.
• Bachelor's degree in CM, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Experience on multifamily, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
• Strong budgeting and constructability understanding.
• Client-facing with Owners/design teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Owners, design partners, and subcontractors.
• Manage day-to-day preconstruction from pursuit through handoff.
• Schedule and support design/preconstruction coordination meetings and maintain schedules.
• Coordinate with Estimating for drawings and budget materials.
• Own real-time Concentric budget; log cost-impacting items promptly.
• Manage value engineering through to disposition with approvals.
• Support Pursuit Leads on strategy, proposals, and interview prep.
• Start with one project, grow to multiple concurrently with mentorship.
• Own project-level preconstruction data—Concentric setup and dashboards.
• Contribute to tools, templates, and process improvements.
