Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Client Services Specialist to serve as the primary relationship manager for existing clients, ensuring an exceptional client experience. You will support advisors, coordinate onboarding, and manage CRM data and meeting preparation.

In this role you will handle inquiries, configure client access to portals, produce reports, and track service requests with a commitment to confidentiality and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Minimum 2 years of client service or relationship management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines and responsibilities.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive client information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and secure messaging.
• Coordinate client communications and follow-up activities.
• Facilitate the onboarding process and configure client access to portals and platforms.
• Maintain accurate client records in the CRM and generate reports.
• Prepare for client meetings and manage post-meeting follow-up and action items.
