Job description

Compensation: $54,000 to $62,000 annually, depending on experience, plus benefits

Strunk HR is recruiting a Client Experience Coordinator on behalf of an established financial services client in Santa Barbara, California.

This is a full-time, in-office position for someone who enjoys being the person who keeps things organized, makes people feel welcome, and notices the details that others may miss.

Our client is looking for someone who brings a professional presence, strong administrative skills, and a genuine desire to create a great experience for both clients and team members.

About the Role

The Client Experience Coordinator is often the first person clients and visitors interact with, so this role plays an important part in setting the tone for the office.

You will help keep the day-to-day operation of the office running smoothly, support client meetings and events, manage administrative details, and make sure the office stays organized and ready for clients.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked in an administrative, office coordination, executive assistant, front office, or similar role and enjoys being at the center of the action.

Candidates coming from hospitality, events, nonprofit organizations, or other service-focused environments may also be a strong fit if they have solid administrative skills and are comfortable working in a professional office environment.

For someone interested in growing their career, there may also be opportunities to learn more about financial services and wealth planning over time.

What You'll Do
  • Greet clients and visitors and create a welcoming, professional experience from the moment they arrive
  • Help visiting team members get settled and connected when working from the Santa Barbara office
  • Coordinate conference rooms and meeting spaces, including scheduling, technology setup, refreshments, and room resets
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
  • Manage incoming mail, client documents, packages, and deliveries
  • Assist with document preparation, scanning, filing, and general office organization
  • Keep common areas and client-facing spaces organized, polished, and ready for use
  • Assist with coordinating client meetings and events
  • Support a monthly local networking event, including agendas, RSVPs, logistics, and event preparation
  • Document client conversations and maintain accurate information within the company's CRM
  • Handle confidential client and company information with discretion
  • Take on additional responsibilities as you become more familiar with the organization and the financial services industry
What We're Looking For

Professional office or administrative experience is one of the most important qualifications for this position.

Experience may include roles such as:

  • Administrative Assistant
  • Executive Assistant
  • Legal or Medical Front Office
  • Professional Reception or Administrative Support

In addition, the ideal candidate will bring:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent follow-through and a high level of reliability
  • A warm, polished, and professional communication style
  • Good judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities without becoming easily overwhelmed
  • Initiative and a willingness to step in when something needs to be done
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, databases, video conferencing platforms, and other everyday business technology
  • An ability and willingness to learn new systems
  • Consistent punctuality and dependability
  • A genuine interest in learning and growing professionally

Experience in hospitality, events, nonprofit organizations, or other guest-facing environments is a plus when combined with strong administrative skills.

A bachelor's degree is helpful but not required.

What Our Client Offers
  • Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications
  • Employee benefits based on eligibility and company policy
  • Career development and opportunities to expand your skills
  • A professional and collaborative office environment in Santa Barbara
  • The opportunity to learn more about the financial services and wealth planning industry

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, in-office position based in Santa Barbara, California. This position is not remote or hybrid.

The role is primarily performed in a professional office environment during standard business hours. Occasional additional hours may be needed for client or networking events with advance notice.

The position is primarily sedentary but may occasionally require lifting, bending, restocking office supplies, or helping prepare meeting and event spaces.

If you are organized, dependable, professional, and genuinely enjoy taking care of both people and details, we would love to hear from you.
