Job summary

Legacy Financial Partners in Milbank, SD is seeking a highly organized Paraplanner to support Financial Advisors in a fast-paced office. You will manage calendars, assemble client files, prepare reports, and ensure confidential documentation is accurate.

The ideal candidate has about two years in financial services, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and the ability to obtain licenses (SIE, Series 7, 66, Insurance) within 12 months.

  • Two years in Financial Services preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Capable of becoming fully licensed in 12 months (SIE, Series 7, Series 66, Insurance).

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to financial advisor ensuring efficient daily office operations.
  • Managed calendars, scheduled appointments, coordinated meetings, and maintained organized workflows in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prepare and maintain client files, reports, correspondence, and confidential documents with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with client onboarding, document collection, and processing while ensuring all records were complete and accurate.

Summary:

Financial Service firm seeks a highly energized and confident individual who will thrive in a busy environment to serve as Paraplanner. Candidate must be extremely professional in appearance and manner, willing to accept direction, quick to learn new things, and computer savvy. Paraplanner will assist Financial Advisors in managing and organizing office workflow.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to financial advisor ensuring efficient daily office operations

  • Managed calendars, scheduled appointments, coordinated meetings, and maintained organized workflows in a fast-paced environment

  • Prepare and maintained client files, reports, correspondence, and confidential documents with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries and delivering exceptional customer service

  • Assist with client onboarding, document collection, and processing while ensuring all records were complete and accurate

  • Maintained databases and performed data entry tasks, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Coordinate communications between clients, internal departments, and external partners to facilitate timely resolution of requests and issues

  • Track projects, action items, and follow-up tasks to ensure deadlines and organizational goals were met

  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and other business applications to generate reports, manage records, and support operational needs

  • Handle confidential client and company information with discretion and professionalism

  • Identified and implemented process improvements that increased efficiency and enhanced the overall client experience

  • Support special projects and additional administrative functions as needed to contribute to team success and organisational objectives

Ideal Education & Experience:


  • 2 years of Financial Service Experience preferred

  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience

Compensation and Hours:


  • Compensation: Depends on experience

  • As a full time employee you are also eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance, 401(k), PTO, holiday pay and other benefits

  • Full Time

  • Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
