Job summary

Neuberger is seeking a Private Wealth Client Associate to support the Weiner Team within Private Wealth Management. Qualifications

  • SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 are required.
  • 2-4 years of client service or support experience in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and FactSet is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, client service, and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary contact for high-net-worth clients for onboarding, accounts, funds, and online access inquiries.
  • Process account openings/closings, transfers, and documentation; oversee asset transfers.
  • Perform daily review and maintenance of client accounts and address issues.
  • Execute account maintenance including trades, ACAT transfers, and beneficiary changes.
  • Prepare correspondence and materials for meetings with clients and prospects.
  • Create and distribute client data reports and oversight reporting.

Job description

The Private Wealth Client Associate is a client-facing role supporting the Weiner Team within Neuberger's Private Wealth Management business. The Client Associate will serve as a primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients, delivering high-touch administrative and service support across onboarding, account management, and day-to-day client needs. The Client Associate will also coordinate and prep for Portfolio Manager client and prospect meetings and prepare custom and composite marketing materials. The Client Associate will support Portfolio Managers in efforts to drive inflows and broaden relationships with clients. The Client Associate will partner closely with Portfolio Management, Operations, Compliance, The Trust Department and Business Controls to ensure a seamless and rewarding client experience.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients, addressing inquiries related to new accounts, LOAs, account updates, funds disbursements, charitable gifting, account performance, trade activity, asset transfers, statement inquiries, objective changes, portfolio market values, stock quotes, and online access
  • Process account openings/closings, transfers, and other client requests; oversee transfer of assets and ensure completion of all required documentation
  • Perform daily review and maintenance of client accounts, including administrative changes, cash/security movements, and addressing insufficient funds for scheduled remittances
  • Execute account maintenance (checks and wires, RMDs, name/address/beneficiary changes, ACAT/DTC transfers, cost updates, client-directed trade orders, and other miscellaneous requests)
  • Prepare correspondence and presentation materials for internal and external clients and prospects, including meetings and account reviews
  • Create, monitor, and update financial and client data reports; compile and distribute daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc oversight reporting
  • Review and process quarterly billing (adding/removing accounts, updating fee schedules, providing invoices, and monitoring receivables)
  • Utilize Salesforce and Outlook to manage client information, track client contact frequency, and record notes and strategy updates from meetings
  • Interact with operations and middle office to resolve account or performance discrepancies; obtain and compile data for reporting
Experience and Skills Qualifications
  • SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 required
  • 2-4 years of client service or support experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and FactSet is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, client service, and communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work with a variety of constituents: peers, Portfolio Managers, Wealth Advisors and clients
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, strong time management, follow-up, and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented, team-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Capable of exercising discretion with confidential information
  • Ability to take initiative and meet clear deadlines

This position is paid based on production compensation only.
