Job summary

Rehmann is seeking a Client Accounting Staff Accountant to support client accounting needs in Cleveland, OH. You will reconcile bank statements, prepare journal entries, and assist with payroll and cash transactions.

You’ll work with state-of-the-art software, develop client relationships, and contribute to timely financial reporting while upholding Rehmann’s service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Progress towards the CPA exam or a commitment to pursue.
• 2-5 years in handling the accounting duties described above.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Proficiency with accounting specific software programs, including Quickbooks Online or other accounting, bill pay and payroll software.
• Ability to read a financial statement and identify issues to discuss with a client.
• Outstanding client service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to develop unique business solutions in a team-based environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and development.
• Unwavering integrity in all situations.
• High degree of attention to detail.
