Job summary

EHTC in West Michigan is seeking an Accounting Services Intern to join our CPA firm and support the Accounting Services practice. You would participate in on-the-job experiences, attend office meetings, and gain exposure to tasks using in-house training. 10 - 15 Hours per week.

You will process client transactions, prepare reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting using QuickBooks Online and other tools. Educational prerequisites apply as listed.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Accounting, or other relevant field, from an accredited university required

Responsibilities

• Process client transactions by preparing journal entries to the general ledger accounts in QuickBooks Online or other applicable applications
• Prepare account reconciliations for significant financial statement areas
• Assist clients in efficient use of automation tools for financial reporting
• Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize client results
• Assist in other client special projects

Job Overview

As an Accounting Services Intern, you would become an integral member of our Accounting Services practice, interacting with all members of the team, and attending all office meetings and functions. You would be applying your education along with in-house training to a variety of on-the-job experiences and specific accounting services tasks. 10 - 15 Hours per week

Qualifications

Education/Licensing
