Aprio is seeking a seasoned Tax Manager to lead a dynamic team within its Client Accounting and Advisory group in a hybrid setting. You will guide tax strategy, supervise staff, and ensure accurate returns for diverse clients while delivering top-tier service.

The role demands strong communication, deep tax knowledge, and a track record in public accounting. CPA preferred; growth opportunities and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Master’s degree in Taxation preferred for advanced roles.
• Recent public accounting experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, delegating tasks and overseeing work.
• Develop and implement tax strategies; stay updated on changing tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and review tax returns for clients to ensure compliance with laws.
• Provide consulting on mergers & acquisitions, tax planning, and corporate restructuring.
• Conduct tax research to identify planning opportunities and stay current with regulations.
• Communicate with clients, tax authorities, and regulators to manage tax-related matters.
