Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Cleveland is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Geriatric Medicine Physician to join our growing Department of Geriatrics. Our Center for Geriatrics features a fellowship program, outpatient services, skilled nursing care, and consultative services tailored to the needs of our aging population.

Qualifications

Active board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Board certification/eligibility in Geriatric Medicine is required or preferred as applicable.
Active Ohio medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
ABMS/ACGME certification is preferred.
Experience caring for older adult populations is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive geriatric care to older adults.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and academic programs.
Participate in quality improvement and innovative care models.

Skills

Experience with older adults

Education

Board certification in Internal Medicine

Board certification in Family Medicine

Board certification/eligibility in Geriatric Medicine

OHIO medical license active/eligible
