Job description

Our Agency is searching for Substitute Clerk Typists.

Join our Agency and make a positive difference in the lives of others, as well as your own.

Essential Job Duties (not all inclusive):

  • Performs routine clerical duties involving operational procedure specific to the department assigned.
  • Provides clerical support to all departments on an “on-call, as needed” basis.
  • Assists with general clerical functions, special projects, and mailings.
  • Types correspondence, reports, and inputs data.
  • Compiles data when needed.
  • Performs simple mathematical computations (or logging exercises utilizing numbers).
  • Answers phones and details messages.
  • Maintains clerical records and filing systems.
  • Maintains confidentiality of staff/consumer records.

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma; 2 clerical classes or equivalent experience; 50 wpm

Experience: 6 months in clerical area

Hours & Job Location:

  • As needed (hours may vary); Hours of Operation Monday – Friday 8AM – 4PM
