Job summary

Safeway in Show Low, AZ is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) to oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations, ensuring merchandise is checked, accounted for and moved to the floor.

You will walk the store daily to address under/over ordering and stock conditions, coordinating with the Store Director, night crew, merchandisers, and other staff, while maintaining backroom security and accurate inventories.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or related work is preferred.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness, security, and organization of backroom areas.
• Ability to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and returns for credit.
• Basic computer knowledge including email, Excel, and store portal.
• Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and work independently.
• Strong communication to interact with vendors, drivers, customers, co-workers, and management.
• Physical ability to lift/carry 5-50 lbs, push/pull 10-50 lbs, and stand/walk continuously.

Responsibilities
