Job summary

Knightwood Associates Limited is seeking an experienced Clerk of Works to oversee site inspections across construction projects in the Suffolk and Norfolk area. You will produce detailed technical reports, ensure works comply with contract requirements, Building Regulations, and warranty standards, and manage defect trackers with site teams.

The ideal candidate will have ICWCI or CIOB membership, strong knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts, and proficiency with reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Undertake regular site inspections and monitor construction progress
• Produce clear, detailed and timely professional reports
• Check works against drawings, Employers' Requirements, warranty standards and Building Regulations
• Identify defects and non-compliance
• Manage defect trackers and liaise with site teams
• Oversee snagging, de-snagging and defects liability inspections
• Maintain accurate project records per QA procedures
