Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Night Shift Warehouse Clerk in Georgia to support daily operations, process orders, manage inventory in a WMS, and coordinate with the IC team. You’ll work Monday–Friday 10:00pm–6:30am, with a focus on accuracy and safety to ensure timely shipments.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read (fine print) and write in English; read safety rules and procedures.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and maintain inventory in a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Distribute work to pickers and monitor productivity toward goals.
• Research and correct transaction errors; handle shipping documents.
• Coordinate hospital product processing with IC team and communicate needs.
• Maintain strong organization and attention to detail in daily tasks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Process orders and maintain inventory in a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Distribute work to pickers and follow up to ensure productivity goals are met
• Research and correct transaction errors
• Handle domestic and international shipping documents
• Create and release work through waving processes
• Coordinate hospital product processing in partnership with the Inventory Control (IC) team
  
• Communicate truck and staffing needs to the Lead and/or Supervisor
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills
  
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Research and correct transaction errors

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Ability to speak, read (fine print) and write in English, including reading, understanding and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel and Outlook)

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of warehouse experience
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed
• Experience entering and maintaining information in a WMS

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
