McLane Company, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk I to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure items are ready for distribution.

You will work closely with teammates to understand customer demands and resolve discrepancies, including filing defect claims and performing other duties as assigned. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of experience preferred, and the ability to read, write, and understand English for safe and efficient operations.

The Inventory Control Clerk I tracks inventory levels to ensure that all products are in stock and available for distribution in the warehouse.

Qualifications you’ll bring as an Inventory Control Clerk I:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 or more years work experience, preferably in the distribution industry.
• Experience with Microsoft Office systems.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
