Job summary

GXO is seeking a motivated Clerk II in California to join our logistics operations. The role focuses on loading/unloading, accurate packaging and routing, and contributing to Lean warehousing initiatives on the floor.

You will follow standard procedures and work closely with cross-functional teams to keep deliveries moving on time. The position requires 2 years of warehouse experience, familiarity with material handling equipment and handheld scanners, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner.
• Participate in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams.

Pay, benefits and more.

The hourly pay rate for this is $(26.50). GXO, in good faith, believes this is the pay rate for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted rate and this rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This rate may be modified in the future. What you’ll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience operating material handling equipment and using a handheld scanner

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime when needed
• 2 Years experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Adjust focus and demonstrate close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
