Candidate should possess organizational and time management skills including attention to detail
Candidate should be proficient with basic technology with the ability to work on Web based applications and Google Workspace. Familiarity with athletic scheduling software/CIAC is a plus.
Prior experience in sports administration or related fields is helpful
Candidate should demonstrate ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with office personnel, staff and, where required, parents and students.

Event Management:
Assist in organizing and managing all aspects of athletic events, including scheduling, facility coordination, and event personnel.
Communication & Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of student-athletes, coaches, and athletic program information, as well as communicate effectively with staff, athletes, parents, and the community through a variety of platforms (social media, Arbiter Sports, Google, etc.)
Coaching Support:
Assist coaches with administrative tasks, roster management, and communication with athletes and parents.
Compliance & Eligibility:
Ensure compliance with relevant athletic policies and regulations, including student-athlete eligibility, coaching certification and sports participation requirements.
Administrative Support:
Perform various administrative tasks, such as managing paperwork, processing documents, and answering inquiries related to the athletic department.

Farmington High School is seeking the Assistant to the Athletic Director (Clerk II)
This posititon is School Year,7 hours per day with an unpaid lunch. Additional days in mid August to prepare for the Fall Athletic Schedule.

General Description:
As the Assistant to the High School Athletic Director, you will provide administrative and logistical support for the school's athletic program, assisting with scheduling, event management, communication, and ensuring compliance. This Clerk II position will answer inquiries related to the athletic department, assist with handling department finances, supervise and assist with the smooth operation of home athletic events including the hiring of officials and game-day staff.

Salary: Clerk II per FPSEU contract Starting at $24.18- $28.26 per hour dependent upon experience
