Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Clerk for the 1st shift (Wednesday–Saturday, 6:00am–4:30pm). You will process orders, maintain inventory in our Warehouse Management System, and perform data entry to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires English literacy, basic computer skills (MS Office), and at least a high school diploma with 1 year of warehouse experience. Flexibility for overtime and the ability to lift and move goods are also expected.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Process orders and maintain inventory in a Warehouse Management System (WMS)


• Perform data entry tasks


• Research and correct transaction errors


• Handle domestic and international shipping documents

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Ability to speak, read (fine print) and write in English, including reading, understanding and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents


• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel and Outlook)

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• 1 year of warehouse experience


• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed


• Experience entering and maintaining information in a WMS

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights


• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull


• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time


• Handle or manage tools or equipment


• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
