Job summary

St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, a Catholic Health member in Smithtown, NY, is seeking a Clerical Assistant to support front-desk and clinical operations. • Answers telephones in a professional manner; distributes mail.

Job Details

Clerical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Meeting, greeting, and orienting patients to floor

• Transcribes orders; prepares pt. chart on admission; ensures that chart is maintained appropriately; dismantles chart upon discharge; prepares diet & census sheets; rewrites medex' once a week; prepares venipuncture list; assists in coordinating and compiling statistics as needed Performs patient and specimen transport duties
• Assists the care team with the discharge process
• Answers telephones in a professional manner; distributes mail

Salary Range

USD $26.18 - USD $26.18 /Hr.
