Responsibilities
This position requires the employee to cover the front desk of the Secretary's Bureau at all times between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, serving as the first point of contact with the public. Responsibilities include:
- Accepting Commission filings from utilities, law firms, and the public regarding litigation or proceedings.
- Answering all incoming calls and evaluating inquiries/requests for information.
- Processing requests for files via telephone or physical requests.
- Researching case information on the Commission's InfoMap Case Management System and the Bureau of Consumer Services Case Management System.
- Instructing or assisting the public in using the Commission's website.
- Managing docketed proceedings from the main file room.
Work Schedule and Additional Information
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 1-hour lunch (non-negotiable).
- Telework: Part-time work from home may be available. The candidate must report daily to the Harrisburg, PA headquarters unless eligible and approved for telework, which requires a secure high-speed internet connection.
- Salary: Starting at $35,306 annually for new employees within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Qualifications
Minimum Experience and Training:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 or equivalent federal/state position, or
- High school graduation, or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
